We had the opportunity to visit this amazing house of Aires Mateus firm with part of his team.
The house, with its extensive program, requires the use of two circulations: one inside and one outside, alternating to facilitate the independence of the lives of the parents and their children.
It is built entirely in exposed concrete, external and internal, recovering the form of a traditional house.

One of the interesting things about this house is how the swimming pool on the terrace compresses the ceiling of the living room on the fourth level, which serves as a space organizer.
In its interiors, Aires Mateus never uses recessed lighting in the ceiling, generally, there is no general lighting. Instead, the light comes from the floor or wall lamps. This helps to create a very warm ambiance.
